PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) - Portland Police say a man was stabbed to death after a report of several people fighting in the southeast part of the city.

It occurred at the intersection of Southeast 83rd Avenue and Southeast Flavel Street.

When police arrived Thursday night, they saw an injured man lying in the street.

Officers called for paramedics but the man died a short time later. A second person was transported to Portland Adventist Hospital and is expected to survive.

Officers detained several individuals and contacted homicide detectives to conduct an investigation. Sean Michael Lagrew, 18, was arrested on one count of felony murder and booked into the Justice Center Jail.

The deceased man has not been identified but police say he was a 28-year-old Portland resident. An investigation is continuing.
