Human remains discovered on Willamette island
By Associated PressINDEPENDENCE, Ore. (AP) - Skeletal remains have been found on a small island in the Willamette River between Salem and Independence. The Marion County Sheriff's Office said deputies responded to a report of the discovered remains at about noon Sunday.
