Sizzling hot days ahead
PORTLAND, Ore. - After one more day of soggy skies, low clouds and diminished sunshine, it looks like summer - or at least a preview of it - is due to arrive and melt those memories of an unusually cold spring.

Skies should clear on Thursday and by Friday, temperatures should climb into the 80s or even the low 90s west of the Cascades.

Saturday will add a few more degrees with temperatures in the 90s.

Temperatures should remain in the 80s on Sunday, according to KATU Meteorologist Rhonda Shelby.

Look for temperatures to cool off into the 70s Monday with wet weather possibly returning on Tuesday.
