OREGON CITY, Ore. - The daughter of a Marion County Sheriff's Deputy killed in the line of duty may be facing yet another loss.

Family members are hoping someone knows something about their stolen puppy, name Kai.

They say the Siberian Husky pup was taken out of their truck Monday morning at an Oregon City Chevron gas station.

The owner of the dog is the 4-year-old daughter of Deputy Kelly Fredinburg.

Fredinburg was responding to a call in June when he was hit head-on by another vehicle on Highway 99E near the town of Gervais.

Deputy Fredinburg died from his injuries.

Anyone seeing the puppy is asked to call the Oregon City police or drop the animal off at a pet shelter.
