Police search apartment looking for clues
PORTLAND, Ore. - Police searched an apartment in southeast Portland late Wednesday night in the hopes of finding some leads in the disappearance of a woman.
Heather Mallory Cole, 32, was reported missing March 8 from the apartment where she lived with her husband.
Police said her husband has been cooperating with their investigation. He told KATU News that he would never hurt Cole.
Police did not confirm if the apartment they searched was the one in which Heather lived, but the search did take place in the complex where the apartment is located.
A neighbor told KATU News that the search did take place in Cole's apartment but that was not confirmed by investigators.
Police have not said if any leads or discoveries were found as a result of the search.
One witness told police they believed they saw Cole's car being driven out of the lot on the day she disappeared.
There is a $6,000 reward for information that helps resolves the case.
