TIGARD, Ore. – Police arrested two men early Thursday morning after raiding a home in which neighbors feared there was drug dealing.
While police didn’t find any drugs in the house at 7735 S.W. Gentle Woods Drive, Tigard police spokesman Jim Wolf said officers found hundreds of syringes in almost every room of the two-story house. They also found evidence of narcotic dealing, he said.
Alexander Bruce Leake and Mickey Harvey, both 26 years old, were arrested on outstanding warrants, Wolf said. But he said they may face more charges as the investigation continues.
During the 5 a.m. raid, police questioned 13 people they found inside the home.
Police developed enough information to get a search warrant for the home after a months-long investigation that included neighbors coming forward and telling police they suspected there was drug dealing of heroin going on in the house, Wolf said.
Wolf said neighbors at the scene thanked officers for taking action.
