Washington couple pleads guilty in massive animal-cruelty case

Jason and Serenna Larsen have pleaded guilty to six felony counts of first-degree animal cruelty in Everett, Wash., court Friday. If convicted, each could be sentenced to up to 12 months in prison.

Teens charged in violent MAX attack to be charged with a hate crime

The official charge is intimidation in the first degree, which is the closest Oregon has to a hate crime charge. The attack happened a week ago when several teens beat a 28-year-old woman aboard a MAX train and then took off with her purse. Police believe the attack was racially motivated.  Brian Barker reports.
