Teen beaten, raped by stranger in Molalla
Police released this sketch of a suspect in a rape that occurred in Molalla on June 21. MOLALLA, Ore. - A teen told police she was attacked and raped by a stranger while walking home from a party over the weekend. The 18-year-old told Molalla police she was near the intersection of Sweigle Street and Fourth Street about 1:30 a.m. Saturday when a man came out of nowhere and hit her in the face. The man then hit the teen in the abdomen, forced her to the ground and raped her on the sidewalk, she told police. Police talked to neighbors in the area but none said they saw or heard anything unusual that night. Investigators have talked to a "person of interest" in the case but have not made any arrests. Police described the suspect as white, about 30 years old, 5 feet 9 inches tall with a medium build, brown hair, brown eyes and an unshaven beard. He was wearing a black baseball cap and black sweatshirt with a hood, police said. Police released the following sketch on Wednesday:
