ASTORIA, Ore. (AP) - The city of Astoria has settled a lawsuit by a couple whose home was damaged in a December 2005 landslide.

Linda and Howland Ho had sued the city and Dawson Enterprises, the builder of the new subdivision above Astoria High School.

The Astoria City Council approved the $125,000 settlement on Monday.

The city had to ask for federal help to deal with the massive landslide that began early in 2005 and slowly threatened several blocks.
