Woman who stole and destroyed artwork gets seven-year term

PORTLAND, Ore. - A former security guard who stole bronze sculptures from a Portland estate has been sentenced to more than seven years in prison.

Kathryn Loundree was found guilty of aggravated theft last month. Investigators said the artwork was worth $81,000.

They said Loundree and her accomplices converted the artwork into $264 worth of scrap metal.
