GRESHAM, Ore. - Federal marshals on Wednesday arrested a wanted predatory sex offender at a Gresham apartment complex.

Police said 25-year-old Shawn Scott Lockamy was found at the Townfair Apartments on Northwest Wallula Avenue when he left an apartment and went to a vehicle. Authorities had been conducting surveillance there after learning Lockamy was hiding out at that location, police said.

Lockamy was wanted for violating conditions of his parole.

He's accused of not checking in with his parole officer and for having contact with a minor.
