Beaverton soldier dies in Afghanistan
This is a press release courtesy of the Department of Defense The Department of Defense announced today the death of a soldier who was supporting Operation Enduring Freedom. Pvt. Tan Q. Ngo, 20, of Beaverton, Ore., died Aug. 27 in Kandahar, Afghanistan, of wounds suffered in Zabul Province, Afghanistan, when his mounted patrol received small arms and rocket-propelled grenade fire. He was assigned to the 1st Battalion, 4th Infantry Regiment, Hohenfels, Germany. |
