European Travel Channel films episode on Oregon coast
BANDON - Most people who live on the Oregon Coast know how beautiful it is year round.
There are beaches, forests and lots of history, especially here on the South Coast.
Well now Europeans will get a taste of what Oregon has to offer.
The European Travel Channel is doing a series on the state and on Wednesday, they were over at the Coquille Lighthouse filming for their Oregon Coast episode.
The crew will be here a couple of days filming various spots on the coast including Oregon Connection in Coos Bay.
Executive Producer and Oregon native Jaimie Douglas says it's great seeing the place she grew up in through someone else's eyes.
English TV Host Alistair Divall says he is very much impressed with the miles of undisturbed beaches all along the Oregon Coast.
The series is called "Oregon Uncovered" and producers hope it will be ready to air sometime in January.
