Report of tornado near Oregon City unconfirmed
By KATU Web StaffBEAVERCREEK, Ore. - A tornado may have briefly touched down southeast of Oregon City near Beavercreek Sunday evening, though there were no immediate reports of damage. According to the National Weather Service, trained weather spotters tracking a strong thunderstorm believe a funnel cloud may have briefly touched down about 8 p.m. as the storm was moving south to southeast. The thunderstorm included hail, gusty winds and dangerous lightning. If you captured pictures of the funnel cloud, send them here.
