GRESHAM, Ore. – A 19-year-old man was hospitalized with stab wounds Monday evening after an altercation in Gresham with two other teens.

The stabbing took place near the intersection of Northwest Civic and Northwest Council Drive.

The unidentified victim said he got into a verbal argument with the two teens and one of them stabbed him.

Both suspects then fled the area on skateboards, according to police. The victim was taken to the hospital and is in stable condition.

Police say one suspect is 17 years old, 5 foot 10 inches tall, with a thin build, dark collar-length hair and a white shirt with a "Famous" logo on it.

The other suspect is another 17-year-old male, about 5 foot 8 inches tall, was wearing plaid shorts and had a bright blue cast on his left arm and wrist.

The suspects were last seen riding skateboards across East Burnside Street.

Gresham police are investigating the incident and searching for the suspects.
