Oak Harbor Freight workers strike over retiree benefits
By Associated PressAUBURN, Wash. (AP) - Picketers are carrying Teamsters strike signs outside the Oak Harbor Freight terminal in Auburn.
Workers walked out Monday night after the union and company were unable to reach an agreement on medical benefits for retired workers. The freight hauler says it will continue to operate. A union spokesman, Brian Davis told KIRO-TV that the picketing will extended to businesses where nonunion truck drivers make deliveries.
