HELVETIA, Ore. - At 4-feet long and 100 pounds, Ferdinand the turtle is hard to miss.

But it appears he escaped somehow from the Helvetia-area farm of the Roloff family, who are featured on TLC's "Little People, Big World" TV show.

On Monday night, the family and neighbors searched in vain for Ferdinand.

If you happen to be in the area and spot the creature, the Roloffs ask you to please return it to them.

UPDATE: Ferdinand the turtle was found Tuesday afternoon on the other end of the farm about a quarter mile from where he escaped, according to Matt Roloff. The turtle is said to be doing well.
