PORTLAND, Ore. - A 24-year-old man was killed when he was thrown from his motorcycle while trying some kind of stunt in north Portland Monday night, police said.

Eric Martel Webb died at the scene from massive head and neck injuries, police said.

According to police, Webb and several of his friends were riding their motorcycles in the 3400 block of North Willis Boulevard about 11 p.m. when witnesses said Webb lost control of his bike while attempting a stunt. The motorcycle hit a curb, and he was thrown off, police said.

Anyone with information on the crash was asked to call Officer Barry Busse of the Traffic Division at (503) 823-2216.
