Gas prices keep falling in Oregon
PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) -- Gasoline prices in Oregon have declined to their lowest level since the end of April.
The cost of a gallon of regular has dropped six cents to an average of $3.58 statewide this week.
The decline put Oregon under the national average of $3.63 a gallon, which was a drop of 10 cents for the country as a whole from the previous week.
AAA Oregon says Wall Street financial troubles and the gloomy economic outlook have pushed prices down.
And Gulf Coast refineries shut down by recent hurricanes are coming back online, boosting the supply.
