33-year-old and his teen wife arrested on meth charges
PORTLAND, Ore. - A man and his teenage wife were arrested this week on charges they were distributing meth.
Jose Carranza Gonzalez, 33, and his 17-year-old wife were taken into custody on Wednesday. The teenage girl is not being identified because she is a minor.
According to police, the arrests were the culmination of an investigation that started last summer when they received information that a home in the 2500 block of North Kilpatrick Street was a drug house.
Investigators seized 3.4 pounds of meth from the home, along with $10,420 in cash and a 2010 Nissan Sentra.
Gonzalez was booked into the Multnomah County Jail and his wife was lodged at the Donald E. Long Juvenile Detention Home.
