PORTLAND, Ore. - A foster mom was expected to appear in court Wednesday afternoon after sheriff's deputies said they found 11 pounds of marijuana in her home.

Sherry Feightner, 50, and her 28-year-old son, Michael Chastain were arrested.

Chastain told deputies the drugs were his but investigators said they don’t think that is true.

Feightner told KATU that investigators don't have all the facts. She said she found the pot and that she thought she could dry it and sell it.

She also claims there wasn't nearly as much in that bedroom as deputies claim.

"What they said was in my home, there was no way that there was that amount," Feightner said. "There just wasn't. Even they were not sure what they had."

Feightner's foster son, who is 9 years old, lived in the room next to where the pot was drying. He was placed with Children's Services personnel.

Feightner is being charged with child neglect and drug manufacturing.
