SALEM, Ore. (AP) - Hunters and anglers can now go online to buy their Oregon licenses.
The Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife is offering residents and nonresidents alike a chance to buy licenses using credit cards on their Web site, rather than just at authorized dealers.
DeAnna Erickson, Fish and Wildlife's license services manager, says this is a convenience that people have been asking for.
Some licenses can be printed off and are effective immediately, and others have to be mailed, so some delay is involved, as well as a $2 handling fee for those that must be mailed.
