EUGENE, Ore. -- Have you seen this sculpture?

A tip leading to the recovery of "The Falconer" could earn you a $2,000 reward.

The statue was stolen from a courtyard at the University of Oregon over three weeks ago. The work of sculptor James Lee Hansen, "The Falconer" was a gift from Jordan Schnitzer to the UO English department. The statue was dedicated in 1974.

The thief or thieves didn't just fly away with the sculpture. Whoever took it worked their tail off: the 3 to 4 foot tall statue weighs hundreds of pounds.

If you have any information about the statue, you're asked to call the Eugene police tip line at (541) 682-8888.
