More top departures from Gregoire administration
OLYMPIA, Wash. (AP) - There are more resignations and retirements from Gov. Chris Gregoire's administration as she begins a second term.
Two of the departures announced Tuesday are cabinet secretaries: Jone Bosworth, stepping down from the Department of Early Learning, and Gary Robinson, retiring from the Department of Information Services.
Also resigning is Children's Administration leader Cheryl Stephani. Children's Administration is part of the Department of Social and Health Services, which reports to Gregoire.
State Fish and Wildlife Director Jeff Koenings resigned on Monday.
Gregoire's office says none of the four were fired or asked to leave. Staff changes at the start of a new term are fairly common.
