Two teens killed in Gresham shootout
By Associated PressGRESHAM, Ore. (AP) - Police identified two Portland men fatally shot near a Gresham apartment complex on New Year's Eve. Officer Adam Baker says 18-year-old Darius Jerrel Perry was found in a street shortly after one resident of the Barberry Village apartments reported hearing gunshots and another said people were firing guns as they ran through the complex. As Gresham police canvassed the neighborhood, they discovered the body of 18-year-old Willy Lewis Butler behind an apartment complex that's north of Barberry Village. Autopsies confirmed both men died of gunshot wounds. Raymond Andrew Lawrence, 17, of Portland was charged with murder and his bail set at $250,000, Officer Baker said.
