BEAVERTON, Ore. – Three young girls told police a man pulled up to them as they walked home from school Monday afternoon and exposed himself.

According to the Washington County Sheriff’s Office, the 11-year-old girls said a man started driving by them very slowly as they started walking west on Southwest Park Way from Cedar Hills Boulevard about 3:45 p.m. while heading home from Cedar Park Middle School in Beaverton.

They said the man drove by them in each direction five times, and each time he passed them he slowed down and drove next to the curb, even when he was traveling in the wrong lane, the sheriff’s office said.

The girls said they saw the man holding his genitals.

The man did not say anything to the girls, and they did not say anything to him, the sheriff’s office said. The girls eventually ran away to one of their homes.

The sheriff’s office said the girls described the suspect as:

  • In his late teens to early 20s
  • Short dark brown hair that is curly and wavy
  • A scruffy face
  • Wearing a dark-colored T-shirt and dark blue pajama bottoms or sweatpants
  • Driving a maroon, four-door sedan that appeared “beat up” and cluttered inside.

Anyone with information on the suspect was asked to call the sheriff’s office at (503) 629-0111.
