Family of Fouad Kaady files suit over police shooting
PORTLAND, Ore. - The family of a man police shot to death in Clackamas County has filed a wrongful death lawsuit in federal court.

The suit says 27-year-old Fouad Kaady of Portland was naked, burned and bleeding a year ago when officers fired a stun gun at him and shot him multiple times.

A grand jury declined to indict the officers, one a county deputy, the other from the city of Sandy.

Police said the man was combative and acting bizarrely.

Representing the family is lawyer Gerry Spence. He's known for buckskin jackets, television commentary and work for figures such as former Philippines first lady Imelda Marcos and Brandon Mayfield, the Portland lawyer jailed for two weeks in 2004 after his fingerprint was mistakenly linked to bombings in Spain.
