Milwaukie police are investigating a Milwaukie High School teacher after reports that he was involved in an inappropriate relationship with a juvenile student.

On March 31, 2009 Christopher John Klitgord, 29, of Portland was lodged at the Multnomah County Detention Center.  He was charged with 3rd degree Sex Abuse and Contributing to the Delinquency of a Minor.

There is no immediate information that Mr. Klitgord has had similar relationships with other students, however Milwaukie police ask that anyone who has information regarding this case, or who are other potential victims, should contact the Milwaukie Police Department at (503) 786-7500.

Mr. Klitgord has been placed on administrative leave pending the outcome of the criminal investigation.  The Milwaukie Police Department would like to thank the Milwaukie High School for their cooperation in this matter.  This investigation is ongoing and additional charges may be forthcoming.
