Pilot suffers minor injuries in crash landing
COVE, Ore. -- The pilot of a crop duster that lost power and skipped across a field suffered only minor injuries Thursday morning.
Kevin Keifer Sr., 37, of Spangle, Wash. was flying over a field in preparation for crop dusting at 8:40 a.m. Thursday when his plane lost power.

The single engine Ayres Corp. model S2R-T34 fixed wing airplane lost air speed while making a low pass, then skipped 150 yards across a field and crashed into a raised bank along a creek.
