SALEM, Ore. - Impersonating a sheriff's deputy is never a good idea, especially when there is a real one waiting on the other side of the door.

The trouble for 32-year-old David Bueno started just after midnight on Sunday when a woman tried to get her partying neighbors to quiet down.

Marsha Coleman said she was just trying to get some rest but her neighbors started banging on her door and harassing her.

"My door was literally like shaking," she said.  "They were kicking the door and pounding on it."

Coleman then called 911 and said as she was inside talking to the deputy, her neighbor decided to continue pounding on the door and was yelling "this is the Marion County Sheriff." You can imagine his surprise when the real deputy opened the door to see what was going on.

"He knew he was in trouble," said Coleman.

Bueno was arrested on charges of criminal impersonation and was transported to the Marion County Jail.
