Survey: Portlanders are the most courteous drivers in the U.S.

Portland drivers are cool, calm and courteous and are least likely to honk or curse at other drivers, according to a new road rage survey.  They are also least likely to observe other drivers running through red lights.

PORTLAND, Ore. - Portlanders have been named the most courteous drivers in the country, according to a 2009 Road Rage Survey by AutoVantage.

The survey found Portland drivers are cool, calm and courteous and are least likely to honk or curse at other drivers.  They are also least likely to observe other drivers running through red lights.

The least courteous city was New York.
