PORTLAND, Ore. - Two illegal immigrants are heading to prison for murdering a Texas teenager who was here visiting her sister.

Dani Countryman, 15, died from strangulation in July of 2007 while partying at an apartment complex in Milwaukie.

Alejandro Rivera-Gamboa admitted he killed 15-year-old Dani Countryman, saying he stepped on her throat while his cousin tried to rape her. The judge sentenced him to life in prison and he will have to serve at least 35 years.

His cousin, Gilberto Arellano-Gamboa, will serve nearly six years for attempted sexual abuse.

Both men will be deported after they serve their sentences.
