5.1 quake hits 114 miles off Southern Oregon coast
PORT ORFORD, Ore. (AP) — An earthquake has hit the ocean floor far off the Southern Oregon coast, but there were no immediate reports of anyone feeling it on land.
The U.S. Geological Survey reports the magnitude 5.1 quake was 114 miles west northwest of Port Orford at 2:14 p.m. Wednesday. The epicenter was 6 miles deep.
USGS spokeswoman Leslie Gordon says there were no immediate reports to the agency's website from people feeling the quake on shore.

Theoretically, as long as we are getting small quakes regularly up and down the pacific coast, the big one will probably be delayed somewhat...if we ever go for a year or two without one, watch out...the pressure will build.....but...then again....maybe the pressure has already built...and is ready to go....."the sky is falling, the sky is falling".......
Run.............. Oh, wait. It was nothing.  Be worried if the Columbia river suddenly drains out like what happened in Alaska in 1964.  Then you can worry, panic or whatever. If the big one (9.5+) did hit the Portland area, with a duration of 5 minutes, all the bridges and overpasses would come down, making travel out of the rubble of Portland difficult, if not impossible, etc.
It's coming when is the question..

March 17th. it will be a roller and the green beer will spill.Â
I felt something....and then the smell hit, it was my dog passing gas.
@deejm2112 I've been thinking of lending out my lab/Australian Shepard to troops in Afghanistan. She should clear a cave in a matter of minutes.
