High-rise bike burglar: Suspect in Pearl District thefts pleads guilty
PORTLAND, Ore. - A man suspected of stealing high-end bikes from at least one high-rise in the Pearl District plead guilty Wednesday to two charges of second degree burglary, and one charge of second degree theft.
He will be sentenced Aug. 5 in Multnomah County Court.
KATU was the first to report that a man suspected of stealing high-end bikes from high-rises in the Pearl District was arrested on Thursday, March 19.
Surveillance video of the suspect at the Gregory Condominiums, which KATU aired, is credited with the capture of Jason Bush. One victim told KATU that he thought the burglar may have taken two of his bikes, worth $4,000 each.
