Local school now using social media

VANCOUVER, Wash. – The Evergreen School District will use social media to keep students, parents and teachers informed this fall.

The fifth largest school district in Washington will use social networking sites Facebook and Twitter to post updates, upcoming performances and forums.

Officials said giving students a 21st century education requires using 21st century tools to communicate with them and the public.
