More victims of 'call back' rape suspect turn up
BEAVERTON, Ore. – Beaverton Police say they believe a man currently in custody may be a serial rapist and that more victims have come forward.
Police said Sean Evans Crawford, 35, has a signature modus operandi for his alleged sexual assaults.
Police claim Crawford contacted his victims through personal ads on Craigslist and then sexually assaulted or raped the women he met on the first date.
Victims claim that after the assault, Crawford would contact them again, ask if they had a good time and also would ask if they would like to meet up with him again.
Crawford was originally sought for alleged attacks on two women.
Police said they have now been contacted by three more women who claim to have been assaulted or raped by Crawford.
Police are asking that anyone who has had contact with Crawford to contact them as soon as possible.
Crawford currently faces a number of charges and is expected to go to trial in December.
