SANDY, Ore. – Two farm workers’ legs were broken and four others received minor injuries after a berry harvester backed over them Monday.
The incident happened just outside of Sandy on Highway 211 near Southeast 362nd Drive, the Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office said.
The sheriff’s office said the harvester brakes went out after it lost a hose or fitting. It rolled backward and then onto its top, injuring the six workers.
All six workers were taken to the hospital for treatment.
The sheriff’s office said it determined it was an industrial accident and notified OSHA.
