12-year-old boy missing after getting on bus

PORTLAND, Ore. - A 12-year-old boy who got on a bus in Portland and was headed to Vancouver is now missing.

Tomas Brent Lamphere was last seen around 2 p.m. on Saturday when he left a north Portland residence to head home to Vancouver. 

Lamphere got on TriMet bus #6 and then supposed to get on CTRAN bus #32 that would take him to his home in the Walnut Grove area of Vancouver. 

When Lamphere failed to return home by 6:30 p.m., his family became worried and contacted police.  The young boy has some minor medical issues and sometimes can become confused.

Lamphere's Description

  • White male
  • 5 feet, 5 inches tall
  • 140 pounds
  • Black hair
  • Brown eyes
  • Last seen wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt, light-colored t-shirt, blue jeans and white sneakers

Anyone who has information on Lamphere's whereabouts is urged to call 911.
