Clackamas County Sheriff's Office Detectives are seeking your assistance with their efforts to identify an armed serial robber who is currently active in Portland, Oregon City and Clackamas County.

On Saturday, September 19, 2009 this serial robber is believed responsible for conducting at total of three armed knife robberies in Clackamas County at the following times and locations:

  • At 6:31 p.m. The Radio Shack, located at 13690 SE Mcloughlin, in the Oak Grove area of Milwaukie.
  • At 7:46 p.m. The Payless Shoe Store, located at 19017 S. Beavercreek Road, in Oregon City.
  • At 8:42 p.m. The Denny's Restaurant, located at 15805 SE 82nd Drive, in Clackamas.

On Tuesday, September 22, 2009 at 3:10 p.m. the commercial establishment identified as Fantasy for Adults only, located at 15536 SE 82nd Drive, Clackamas was also robbed by a lone male adult armed with a knife. Investigators believe each of these armed knife robberies were committed by the same person.

Portland Police Bureau investigators are reporting they have detected similar robbery events that have occurred in their jurisdiction as well.

Investigators said it appears the suspect targets businesses with female clerks who are working alone. At one business where there were several customes present, the suspect was chased off.

SUSPECT PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION

  • White Male Adult
  • Late 30's or early 40's
  • Approximately 5'07" tall
  • 150 pounds
  • Moustache and goatee - unshaven

SUSPECT CLOTHING AND WEAPON

This robbery suspect has been witnessed wearing:

  • A black baseball hat
  • Blue jeans
  • A light colored -- zippered front -- hooded sweatshirt
  • Skater-style shoes

*** This suspect has been armed with a silver -- folding type -- knife***
