Many good-paying jobs still go unfilled
UNDATED - With about 15 million people looking for work in the United States, why are so many good-paying jobs going unfilled?
Economists say it's due to a mismatch between available work and people qualified to do it.
Even as the unemployment rate nears 10 percent, some employers can't find qualified people for some of these good-paying career jobs.
Jobs going unfilled include accounting positions, health care workers, software sales representatives, physical therapists and electrical engineers.
Experts say unemployed workers may need to find more than just a new company. They may need to develop new skills and find a new industry to work in.
