PORTLAND, Ore. - At least one woman was not happy with Sunday's protest. Loretta Turner said someone stole a large "For Rent" sign from the Sellwood apartment complex she manages.

"I didn't even know anything about it until people started calling me," she said.

Demonstrators carried the sign throughout downtown Portland during the march. They had apparently scrawled a message on one side of the sign while the back of the sign still said "For Rent" and included a phone number.

Turner said she received numerous crank calls from people and was not happy about it. She was even more upset that the sign was stolen because it is very expensive.

"The exposure is great, but these people, I wouldn't rent to anyhow," she said.

If anyone can get the sign back, Turner asks them to call her at (503) 313-4573.
