Sam Adams recall effort - 'Take 2'
KATU.com file photo By KATU.com StaffPORTLAND, Ore. - Former state senator Avel Gordly is taking the lead in the new effort to recall Portland Mayor Sam Adams. "We will succeed this time around," she said. "And again, it's the voters signing this petition that makes it all possible." The new signature collection has not yet started. The organization Portland Future PAC is waiting on more funding, but expects to officially get started in a week or two. Supporters will then have three months to gather more than 32,000 signatures to force a recall vote. |
