PORTLAND, Ore. - Portland police investigated a reported 'hit list' brought to Robert Gray Middle School by a 13-year-old student on Thursday.

Officers arrived at the school before noon after receiving a report that a student had brought a list of students to school.

School officials say they are taking any threat seriously following the shooting spree at Virginia Tech.

Classes were not canceled at the school, located on Southwest 23rd Avenue.

Police and school officials did not say who or how many names were on the list. The investigation is continuing.
