PORTLAND, Ore. - Police on Saturday identified the victim of a homicide in North Portland a day earlier.

The body of Frank Clarence Johnson, 51, was found in the 5700 block of North Kerby Avenue about 10 p.m. Friday.

The Multnomah County medical examiner determined the cause of death to be blunt force trauma.

Officers responded to the address after receiving a report of a disturbance Friday night. Witnesses said one person may have jumped out of a third-story window during the incident.

Officers Friday night set up a perimeter to try to find that person and asked area hospitals to be on the lookout for someone with injuries consistent with a three-story fall.

Police did not release any other information Saturday.

Anyone with information on the case were asked to call Detective Molly Daul at (503) 823-0400 or Detective Barry Renna at (503) 823-0255.
