Police: Man shot neighbor who was kicking down his door

GRESHAM, Ore. - A Greshamman was shot after kicking down his neighbor's front door, according to police investigating the incident
 
The shooting took place at about 9 p.m. Thursday night at an apartment complex on Southeast Powell Boulevard.
    
Police say the suspect kicked down the front door of his neighbor's apartment and the tenant inside then shot the suspect.
    
Police found the man with a gunshot wound in his leg and said it was not life threatening.
 
There was no immediate information about what led the man to try and kick the door in. The type of firearm used by the tenant was also not released.
 
No charges have been filed in the case so far. An investigation is continuing.
