Dogs die in Oregon City mobile home fire

OREGON CITY, Ore. - Five dogs died in an early-morning mobile home fire in Oregon City, according to fire investigators.

Firefighters were able to rescue two puppies. No other injuries were reported.

The Red Cross is helping the two adults and teenager find a place to stay and are taking clothing donations for the family.    

The cause of the fire is under investigation. The mobile home was destroyed for the most part.

A home in Gaston was also hit by fire overnight. No one was hurt and the house was heavily damaged. The cause of that blaze is also under investigation.
