Vandals leave swastika flags at grave sites
ORCAS ISLAND, Wash. - Investigators are lifting fingerprints to try to find the vandals who trashed a Washington cemetery twice during Memorial Day weekend.
The vandalism took place at Woodlawn Cemetery on Orcas Island, which is located in Puget Sound near the Canadian border in northwestern Washington.
Vandals burned dozens of American flags at veterans' grave sites and replaced them with hand-made swastika flags.
Volunteers discovered the damage Sunday and replaced all the flags, but the vandals came back Monday.
Investigators believe there is more than one person involved but otherwise they say they have no suspects.
