TROUTDALE, Ore. - Police in Troutdale are looking for a robbery suspect who knows what he wants and won't accept any substitutes.

Investigators say that the suspect, described as a white male in his early 20s, walked into the pharmacy section of an Albertson's store on Southeast Stark Street and told a pharmacists that he wanted 80mg tablets of Oxycontin, and "not the generic."

When the pharmacist offered the suspect over $1,100 worth of the generic version, known as oxycodone, the man handed back the bottle of pills and allegedly threatened to shoot another staffer if he didn't get the real thing, according to a police press release.

Moments later,  the suspect ran from the store empty-handed. A search of the area by police was unsuccessful.

Police describe the suspect as thin, about 6 foot 1 inch tall, wearing a wool hat and a dark winter jacket. He had a T-shirt around his neck, possibly in an effort to conceal his identity from security cameras.

Anyone who has any information about the suspect is asked to call Troutdale Police at (503) 823-3333.
