Governor takes a boat tour, gets briefed on Columbia River Crossing project
PORTLAND, Ore. - Gov. Ted Kulongoski was briefed on the Columbia River Crossing project on Wednesday and took a boat tour to get a first-hand look at the location.

The I-5 Columbia River Crossing project is aimed at solving the traffic congestion problems between Portland and Vancouver.
Wednesday's briefing included an overview of the changes, savings and job creation estimates by Port of Portland officials, Oregon Department of Transportation representatives and project engineers.
