Missing Eugene woman's SUV found unattended

EUGENE, Ore. -- The vehicle of a woman last seen leaving her River Road area home a week ago has been located.

Cindie Kogle, 41, has not been seen since Dec. 28. Kogle is 5-foot-4 with brown eyes and hair.

The sheriff's office found her red 1991 Nissan Pathfinder on Jan. 2 on Richardson Upriver Road off Highway 126 between Walton and Mapleton near the Wildcat Creek covered bridge.

She left in her car after a family fight but had not been reported missing by her family. After the sheriff's office found the car, investigators discovered no one had seen her since Dec. 28.

Searchers made a cursory search of the area but found nothing, said John Miller with Lane County Search and Rescue.

At this point, there is nothing to suggest any foul play, Miller said. Searchers want the public's help to build a timeline regarding here whereabouts. If you have seen Kogle or her vehicle, please call Lane County Sheriff’s Office Search and Rescue at (541) 682-8544.
